Animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember. From age fourteen I worked at a barn cleaning, feeding, riding and eventually into training the horses. The barn was my home away from home with dogs, cats, ducks and a couple of resident goats in addition to the horses. After I graduated from high school I began house sitting caring for large and small animals. I spent several summers working with the girl scouts as a riding instructor at one of their camps. I even worked a few months as a dog washer just for fun. In addition, the summer of 2000 I volunteered for a wildlife center that focused on education, rescue, rehabilitation, and release of the animals. Currently I have two rescue dogs, two cats, and a horse I am training in dressage. I am on the board for DART (Dade Animal Resource Team) a group dedicated to reducing the overpopulation of dogs and cats by offering spay/neuter assistance and education. I also foster dogs and puppies.
