Me And My Dogs is located on the Georgia side of Lookout Mountain. The dog houses are nestled in a hollow deep in the woods. Ten acres of land feature a creek and a mile and a half of hiking trails. It is a peaceful and quiet. The dogs love it.
There are four dog houses for boarders including a new addition, the woodland house. Each house has eight rooms or less to dramatically reduce stress. The rooms have a window for natural light and a view of the outdoors. The size of the rooms, houses and outdoor space vary to accommodate the individual needs of the dogs.
Known as the best kept secret on the mountain, Me And My Dogs has been boarding dogs since 2007. Families of dogs have been boarding here for over ten years, and are part of our family. They stay in their favorite room and we take care of them like they are our own. The secret is out, call to make a reservation and join the Me And My Dogs family.

It started by accident really. In 2007 I was training obedience and later behavior modification with dogs that were fearful and anxious. One of the vets that knew the work I was doing, referred a patient that pulled a chain link fence out of a concrete wall. The dog owner no longer had no place to board Blu and asked if I would. Reluctantly I said yes, he could board with me. He was a perfect gentleman. Blu is gone now, but he boarded with me for nine years.
Word got out. Soon I was boarding dogs that had no where else to go. Shortly after I met some nice folks from a rescue group. They asked, can you board and train? Sure, I said. Now I was helping dogs prepare for adoption. Then the call came in 2009 that changed everything, "do you board normal dogs?" "I guess I do." Thanks to the all the wonderful people who have trusted me with their dogs, my business has consistently grown since. |
Hello, my name is Storm Williams. I have lived in Chickamauga most of my life. I graduated from Ridgeland High School in 2019. I began working with dogs at a local boarding facility in 2017 during my dual enrollment program through Georgia Northwestern. I immediately fell in love and gained a passion working with dogs. In 2018 I expanded my knowledge and went to work for a local training and boarding facility in Georgia. There I learned training techniques and specialized in obedience and off leash training, I learned how to train hunting companions. I decided to put a twist on my training and begin working with the owners and their dogs together to form confidence in training at home. I feel it is important for the owners to be fully involved with the training from the start. My goal is for the dog to gain respect for their owners in their own space while teaching the owners to keep control and increase the progress of their pet.
